Harrisonburg police are asking for information about an attempted robbery early Sunday morning.
According to a released from HPD Public Information Officer Mary-Hope Gangwer, a male was walking in the 1800 block of Putter Court around 3 a.m. when he was approached by four unknown black males. Police allege that one suspect asked for the victim’s possessions.
According to the release, the victim struck one suspect and fled. The four suspects also left the scene on foot and nothing was taken during the attempt.
The suspects were last seen wearing blue jeans and dark-colored sweatshirts.
