The Independence Day celebration is underway in downtown Harrisonburg, featuring a variety of family friendly activities. At 5 p.m., a parade made its way down Main Street, drawing thousands of spectators. The festivities – including music, street vendors, rock climbing, and more – are to continue until fireworks light up the sky after dark.
